Vasileios Angelidakis gave an invited talk at RWTH Aachen
July 3, 2023 – Vasileios Angelidakis was invited to give a talk on June 30, 2023 at the Summer Semester Colloquium of the Chair of Methods for Model-based Development in Computational Engineering (MBD) of RWTH Aachen. The talk, entitled “From Soil Mechanics to Granular Metamaterials: Exploring the Universality of Particulate Matter via Discrete Element Simulations”, focused on similarities and differences in the mechanical response of natural geomaterials and granular metamaterials.
